LUCKY

“Lucky” follows the spiritual journey of a 90-year-old atheist and the quirky characters that inhabit his off-the-map desert town.  Having out-lived and out-smoked all his contemporaries, our fiercely independent hero finds himself at the precipice of life, thrust into a journey of self-exploration, leading toward that which is so often unattainable: enlightenment.

"Lucky” marks the directorial debut of renowned actor John Carroll Lynch (”Fargo”, “Shutter Island”) and was lovingly written for, and stars, prolific character actor Harry Dean Stanton. Harry Dean has had an unsurpassed career, appearing in nearly 200 films and television series, including “Alien”, “The Green Mile”, “Cool Hand Luke”, “Pretty in Pink”, “Paris, Texas”, and HBO’s “Big Love”.  “Lucky” features an incredible supporting cast, including Ed Begley Jr., (“Better Call Saul”, “St. Elsewhere”), Ron Livingston (“Office Space”, “Band of Brothers”), Tom Skerritt (“A River Runs Through It”, “Top Gun”) and cult favorite director/actor David Lynch (“Twin Peaks”, “Mulholland Drive”).
